Anecdotal report on drunken astronauts causes media stir

A recent report by Aviation Week & Space Technology claiming that U.S. astronauts flew while heavily intoxicated on at least two occasions turned out to have been somewhat exaggerated. At least, there’s no proof yet for those allegations.

Sabotage will not delay STS 118

Explosion at Scaled Composites kills three

An explosion yesterday killed three workers and critically injured three others at a Mojave Desert airport site used by Scaled Composites, the builder of SpaceShipOne and the planned SpaceShipTwo.
