Co-operation of SBIRS-GEO space and ground elements tested

Lockheed Martin announced that it has successfully completed a critical end-to-end test between the space and ground elements of the Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS), a key milestone in preparation for launch and on-orbit operations of the programme’s first geosynchronous orbit (GEO) spacecraft.

Khrunichev prepares for firing tests of Angara launch vehicle

Within preparation activities for its test firing, Angara’s first stage has been transported from Moscow-based manufacturing facilities of Khrunichev Space Center (KhSC) to the Chemical Machine building Research & Scientific Institute located in Peresvet city near Moscow, for test fitting on a stand.
