Tooway to launch in France, Spain, Bulgaria

Eutelsat Communications and ViaSat Inc. announced the expansion of the distribution network for the Tooway satellite broadband service that was first presented in Germany. Distribution agreements have been signed which mark the extension of the service beyond Germany into France, Spain and Bulgaria.

ITU sends satellite terminals to earthquake region

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has deployed 50 satellite terminals in Peru to help restore vital communication links in remote and underserved areas affected by the earthquake that hit the country last month.

NASA terminates RpK’s COTS contract, report
