Galileo tender rules modified to appease Germany

The European Commission confirmed reports it had proposed a new tendering process for its Galileo satellite navigation system which would prevent any one company from having a dominant share of the work.

Sea Launch: next try on Sunday

An attempt to launch a Zenit 3SL rocket with the Thuraya 3 communications satellite on board will be made on 25 November from a floating platform in the Pacific Ocean, Sea Launch said.
