Spanish government approves abertis’ acquisition of Hispasat stake

The Spanish government has cleared a deal under which abertis relecom would acquire a 28.4 percent stake in Hispasat for EUR199 million. It had earlier been reported the government was opposing the acquisition.

MDA awarded NASA contract

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. has received a C$7 million (US$6.9 million)contract from NASA to develop an enhanced platform for Dextre, a component of the Canadian Mobile Servicing System for the International Space Station.
