SES Americom unveils SatelliteWiki.com

SES Americom announced the debut of satellitewiki.com, a wiki devoted to the satellite industry. The timing of the debut coincides with the 50th anniversary of the launch of Explorer 1, the first U.S. satellite.

NovAtel to establish Galileo monitoring sites in Canada

NovAtel Inc. said it was recently awarded a shared contribution contract valued at C$668,000 by the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) to establish sites in Canada to monitor the Galileo GIOVE test satellites.

SES increases ownership in SES Sirius to 90 percent

Iranian state broadcaster may get U.S. dollars for own satellite

The Iranian parliament, the Majlis, has approved the general outlines of a bill to allocate US$250 million for state broadcaster Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) to purchase a telecommunications satellite.
