MIT Lincoln Laboratory completed its portion of in-orbit testing of the first Wideband Global Satellite Communications (WGS) system last March, according to a statement released recently.

Mobile Broadcasting Corp. (MBCo), a subsidiary of Japan’s Toshiba Corp., said that it will cease satellite digital multimedia broadcasting.
