China’s latest weather satellite in orbit

Rocket: Chang Zheng 3A; Payload: Fengyun 2-06 (Fengyun 2-E); Date: 23 December 2008, 0054 UTC; Site: Xichang launch centre, China. The weather satellite entered the preset geostationary transfer orbit 24 minutes after lift-off.
