For sports fans, there is nothing that unites quite so strongly as a devotion for the same favorite team. While it might sound simple-minded, other affiliations, even those that are religious or political, go out the window when the game is on. SES Astra has been awarded a second contract by the European Commission (EC) to provide hosted payload services for EGNOS, the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service. The contract was awarded following a tender by the European Commission.
