Update: First Galileo contracts signed

Thales Alenia Space announced the signing of the contract to provide ESA Galileo system Support Services, lasting from 2010 till 2016.

Intelsat General wins U.S. Navy contract

Intelsat General Corp. was awarded a contract worth up to US$543 million, firm-fixed-price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command’s Commercial Broadband Satellite Program.
