Russia launches new military satellite

Rocket: Soyuz U; Payload: Kosmos 2462; Date: 16 April 2010, 1500 UTC; Launch Site: Plesetsk, Russia. The military satellite reached the designated orbit about eight minutes later.

COM DEV buys subcontractor

COM DEV International Ltd. has purchased substantially all of the assets of Routes AstroEngineering, a privately owned, Ottawa-based company specialising in the design and manufacture of advanced instruments for space science research applications.
