China launches 3D mapping satellite

Rocket: Chang Zheng 2D; Payload: Tian Hui-1 (TH-1); Date: 24 August, 0710 UTC; Launch Site: Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre, China. State media said the mapping satellite had entered into the preset orbit.
