Finally: self-cleaning solar panels

Every time NASA reported decreasing power levels for their Mars rovers caused by dust deposits on their solar arrays, I felt tempted to (jokingly) ask why NASA just didn’t equip them with some converted windscreen wipers. Now, scientists have come up with a high-tech solution to the problem: self-dusting solar panels that could also prove useful on Earth.
