Boeing shipped its fourth Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellite to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station to undergo final preparations for a scheduled January launch. NASA’s new Mars rover, Curiosity, will be launched on 25 November from Cape Canaveral in Florida on an Atlas V rocket. Northrop Grumman Corporation and its teammate ITT Exelis have finished installation of the giant structural steel frame used to assemble the mirrors and instruments of NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).
