Annus horribilis not over yet for Russian space sector

A Soyuz 2-1b failed to launch Russia’s dual-use Meridian 5 communications satellite and crashed back to Earth. Fragments of the ascent unit have been found in the Novosibirsk region. So far, there have been no reports of any injuries or serious damage.
