NASA selects green propellant technology demo mission

NASA has selected a team led by Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corporation for a technology demonstration of a high performance “green” propellant alternative to the highly toxic fuel hydrazine.

Curiosity reprogramming complete

NASA’s rover Curiosity on Mars has finished a four-day process transitioning both of its redundant main computers to flight software for driving and using tools on the rover’s arm.

USAF second Advanced Extremely High Frequency satellite activates payload

The U.S. Air Force successfully activated the AEHF-2 communications payload on 14 August. Payload activation was accomplished from the AEHF command and control site located at Schriever AFB, Colorado.

NASA announces next opportunity for CubeSat space missions

NASA is seeking proposals for small satellite payloads to fly on rockets planned to launch between 2013 and 2016. These CubeSats could be auxiliary payloads on previously planned missions.

As you probably know the people that install cable services really need to know a lot to do the job, and it takes training, and a period of apprenticeship to ensure quality and success for the technician.
