SSTL assists RapidEye ground station upgrade

How About Football Stadiums With 100s of High Definition Cameras Controllable By Viewers?

Well, it is amazing how much people get into their football, and if you are a sports enthusiast you know exactly what I’m talking about. You grab some pizza and beer, invite your buddies over, have a quick barbecue and turn on the large screen flat panel display in high definition. Isn’t life great? Sure it is, but it’s not as if you were there, you are merely watching on it all play out on TV. Nevertheless, sometimes the TV shows a better picture, and things you would not have been able to see if you were there in person. We all know this is true, but could we take it one step further?

Several problems on first commercial resupply launch to ISS

Investigation into upper stage pressure loss during latest Delta IV flight

United Launch Alliance said it observed an unexpected data signature with the upper stage engine throughout a portion of the flight that launched GPS IIF-3 on 5 September. Inmarsat and Cisco agree to satellite services alliance

International Space Station deploys five cubesats

The Expedition 33 crew demonstrated the ability of the International Space Station to deploy satellites on 4 October. Several tiny satellites were released outside the Kibo laboratory using the new Small Satellite Orbital Deployer attached to the Japanese module’s robotic arm.
