NASA’s Commercial Crew Program (CCP) partner Boeing has successfully completed a preliminary design review (PDR) of the component that would connect the company’s new crew capsule to its rocket.

NASA’s Astrophysics Explorer Program has selected two missions for launch in 2017: a planet-hunting satellite and an International Space Station instrument to observe X-rays from stars.

This week, ESA opened a new Space Weather Coordination Centre to gather up-to-date information on our Sun. It is the first such data coordination centre opened under the Agency’s Space Situational Awareness Programme.
