A launch time has been set for the launch of the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program Flight 19 (DMSP-F19) military weather satellite from Vandenberg Air Force Base. The 10-minute launch window opens on 3 April opens at 1446 UTC.

NASA has selected Orbital Sciences Corp. to launch the Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System (CYGNSS) mission. CYGNSS will launch in October 2016 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida aboard a Pegasus XL rocket from Orbital’s “Stargazer” L-1011 aircraft.

Airbus Defence and Space will be the European Space Agency’s (ESA’s) prime contractor for the development and construction of the high-precision Sentinel-5 instrument worth EUR144 million.
