The first two Galileo FOC (Full Operational Capability) satellites arrived today at the Guiana Space Center (CSG), Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana. In the next few days, preparations for their launch will kick off.

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated announced that its subsidiary, Teledyne Energy Systems, Inc. was awarded a contract by the Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) for a technology transfer and flight hardware upgrade programme which could be valued up to US$17.6 million.

Harris Corporation has completed the first of four antenna-feed upgrades that will provide performance improvements essential to processing the new frequencies and increased volume of meteorological data that will come from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite — R Series (GOES-R).
