O3b Networks payload “cluster” takes form for upcoming launch

Payload integration is underway for the four O3b Networks connectivity satellites to be orbited by Arianespace on its next Soyuz mission, scheduled for lift-off on 10 July from the spaceport in French Guiana.

First Angara launch may slip to 27 June

The first test launch of Russia’s Angara light-weight rocket, initially set for 25 June, may be conducted from the Plesetsk Cosmodrone in the Arkhangelsk region on 27 June, a Russian space rocket industry source was quoted as saying.

ESP delivers thrusters for FORMOSAT satellites

European Space Propulsion (ESP), an Aerojet Rocketdyne company, has delivered the first set of satellite thrusters to Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd., in support of a joint mission between Taiwan and the United States to observe and monitor the global climate, atmosphere and ionosphere for enhanced weather forecasting.
