Moog Dublin announces “SoftRide” technology transfer programme

Moog’s Dublin facility, part of the Moog Inc. Space and Defense Group, announced the commencement of a European Space Agency (ESA) technology transfer programme to protect spacecraft by reducing harsh vibration experienced during launches.

QuickBird retired from DigitalGlobe remote sensing constellation

The QuickBird satellite designed and built by Ball Aerospace for DigitalGlobe de-orbited successfully last month after making 70,000 trips around the Earth during its more than 13 years on orbit.

COM DEV on Canadian dollar weakness

COM DEV International Ltd. announced that the rapid and dramatic weakening of the Canadian dollar against its U.S. counterpart in January had negatively impacted the company’s hedge portfolio, but that it also improved company outlook for revenue and gross profit.
