Harris Corporation to acquire Exelis

Harris Corporation and Exelis, Inc. announced a definitive agreement under which Harris will acquire Exelis in a cash and stock transaction valued at US$23.75 per share, or an approximately US$4.75 billion enterprise value.

Intelsat and Kymeta join forces to enable next-gen satellite applications

Intelsat S.A. and Kymeta Corporation announced an agreement to design and produce innovative, flat, electronically steerable, Ku-band mTenna satellite antenna solutions that are optimised for the Intelsat EpicNG high throughput satellite (HTS) platform. The first Intelsat EpicNG satellite is expected to launch in late 2015.

SNC Space Systems, OHB complete Dream Chaser study
