Ekspress AM7 launched by Proton

Rocket: Proton-M/Briz-M; Payload: Ekspress AM7; Date: 18 March 2015, 2205 UTC; Launch site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. As per the mission plan, the spacecraft/upper stage separation took place 9 hours and 13 minutes after lift-off.

Arianespace to launch EDRS-C satellite

Arianespace and Airbus Defence and Space have reached an agreement for the launch of EDRS-C which is the second geostationary satellite of the SpaceDataHighway system.

ADS to use 3D printing for new Eurostar E3000 satellite platforms

Airbus Defence and Space in the UK is now producing its first space qualified aluminium 3D printed components after a two year research and development programme under the National Space Technology Programme, through Innovate UK (formerly the Technology Strategy Board) and the UK Space Agency.
