Russia to develop indigenous radar satellites

A group of Russian companies are currently developing a radar satellite system for the country’s Defense Ministry. According to the project design, the system will comprise five spacecraft. The first launch is scheduled for 2019.

New Horizons completes Kuiper Belt targeting manoeuvres

NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft has successfully performed the last in a series of four targeting manoeuvres that set it on course for a January 2019 encounter with 2014 MU69. This ancient body in the Kuiper Belt is more than 1.6 billion kilometers beyond Pluto; New Horizons will explore it if NASA approves an extended mission.
