Arianespace’s first Ariane 5 for Galileo takes shape

The initial Ariane 5 to loft four global positioning satellites for Europe’s Galileo navigation system has begun its build-up at the Spaceport in French Guiana for a milestone Arianespace mission in November.

Services restored on Telesat’s Anik F2 satellite after outage

On 2 October 2016 at approximately 1300 UTC, Telesat’s Anik F2 satellite experienced a technical anomaly that resulted in loss of satellite services to its customers. Customer services on Anik F2 were restored the following day.
