CZ-3B returns to flight with two navsats

Rocket: Chang Zheng 3B; Payload: Beidou-3M1 (Beidou-24), Beidou-3M2 (Beidou-25); Date: 5 November 2017, 1145 UTC; Launch site: Xichang Satellite Launch Center, China. This marked the return to flight of the rocket after a partial launch failure during the Zhongxing-9A (ChinaSat-9A) mission in June.

JPSS-1 launch comes closer

NASA is preparing to launch the Joint Polar Satellite System-1, or JPSS-1, satellite on behalf of the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to provide essential data for timely and accurate weather forecasts and for tracking environmental events such as forest fires and droughts.

ESA, ViaSat partner on ViaSat-3 communications system development

ViaSat Inc. announced a Public Private Partnership (PPP) between its wholly owned subsidiary ViaSat Antenna Systems S.A. and the European Space Agency (ESA), to develop key components of the ViaSat-3 satellite communications system with European industry.
