The launch of a United Launch Alliance Delta II carrying the NOAA Joint Polar Satellite System-1, or JPSS-1, has been rescheduled for 0947 UTC on Saturday, 18 November 2017, from Space Launch Complex-2 at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.

The Angosat spacecraft built by Energia under a contract with the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Angola has been delivered to the Baikonur launch site.

The U.S. Department of Defense announced that it has a prototype flight with Virgin Orbit’s LauncherOne as a demonstration of the new launch service.
