Test launches of Boeing’s Starliner to ISS delayed again

The launch of a Boeing-developed unmanned Starliner spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS) was postponed to 6 October from 17 September, and the test launch of a crewed Starliner was rescheduled to 30 December from 30 November a space industry source said.

NASA awards CubeSat dispenser contract

NASA’s Launch Services Program (LSP) at the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida has selected five companies to provide commercial CubeSat dispenser hardware and mission integration services.

Soyuz MS-14 to try again after failed automatic docking

The recently launched Soyuz MS-14 on Saturday failed to automatically dock at the ISS on schedule and started retreating from the station. Later, the spacecraft was pulled to a safe distance from the ISS. Roskosmos will make a second attempt to dock to the International Space Station (ISS) in the morning of 27 August.

Roskosmos patents ‘armour’ to protect satellites from space debris

Russian space agency Roskosmos has patented a new protective shield for protecting satellites from the high-speed impact of space debris, according to the database of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent).
