China Satcom files insurance claim over ChinaSat-18

China Satcom has filed an insurance claim over the ChinaSat-18 communications satellite after it failed to communicate with the satellite, which is now considered a total loss.

Firefly announces DREAM payloads for inaugural Alpha flight

Firefly Aerospace announced 26 payloads were selected to fly on the Dedicated Research and Education Accelerator Mission (DREAM), a global competition to host academic and educational payloads as rideshare participants on the inaugural flight of the Firefly Alpha launch vehicle.

Update: Kuaizhou-1A makes second flight in 4 days

The KL-ALPHA A and KL-ALPHA B satellites that recently flew aboard a Kuaizhou-1A rocket were reportedly launched on behalf of KLEO Connect GmbH, Munich, Germany.
