Touchdown! NASA’s Perseverance rover lands on Mars to begin hunt for signs of ancient life

The car-sized Perseverance, the most advanced robot ever sent to the Red Planet, aced its “seven minutes of terror” touchdown this afternoon (Feb. 18).
