Japan’s SLIM ‘moon sniper’ lander arrives in lunar orbit for Christmas

Japan’s robotic SLIM spacecraft arrived in lunar orbit today (Dec. 24) ahead of a historic moon touchdown attempt that’s scheduled for Jan. 19.
