SpeedCast acquires capacity on NSS-6, 7 and 12

SpeedCast has signed a multi-year agreement with SES World Skies for additional capacity on SES’ NSS-6, NSS-7, and NSS-12 satellites to serve its maritime customers in the Middle East, African, and South American regions, including offshore Brazil.

Hughes wins U.S. Air Force satellite study contract

SS/L to study MILSATCOM, too

M7 Group books fifth Astra transponder at 23.5 degrees East

SES Astra has signed a long-term agreement with M7 Group for an additional transponder on Astra 23.5 degrees East. The capacity will be used for the continued transmission of Dutch regional broadcasters as well as for additional High Definition (HD) services.

USAF demos communications between FAB-T and Milstar satellite

New Media Legend picks Eutelsat to launch ‘Scene’ TV platform

New Media Legend, one of Russia’s principal suppliers of uplink services for pay-TV platforms and channels, has selected the 36 degrees East satellite neighbourhood operated by Eutelsat Communications for a new broadcasting platform providing Russian and international channels to complement the NTV Plus and Tricolor TV platforms.
