Space shuttle Endeavour has lifted off on the STS-127 mission to the International Space Station. It was the sixth launch attempt.

NASA has decided to skip the 14 July launch opportunity for space shuttle Endeavour.

ILS International Launch Services (ILS) and SES announced the execution of an agreement for the launch of QuetzSat-1 on an ILS Proton in 2011. QuetzSat-1 is under construction by Space Systems/Loral on behalf of SES Satellite Leasing Limited in the Isle of Man.

The launch of space shuttle Endeavour, currently scheduled for 11 July, may be delayed because of bad weather, according to the latest forecast.
