Launch date set for Discovery’s STS-133 mission

Space shuttle Discovery is scheduled to begin an 11-day mission to the International Space Station with a launch at 2150 UTC on 24 February from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The STS-133 mission is Discovery’s final scheduled flight.

SES S.A. results 2010

SES S.A. reported financial results for the twelve months to 31 December 2010. The company also announced it would consolidate the operations of SES Astra and SES World Skies.

iDirect awarded contract for Global Xpress infrastructure

Inmarsat has awarded a new contract to iDirect to provide the ground network infrastructure and core module technology for integration into satellite terminals for its new Global Xpress service.
