BrahMos Aerospace to build Indian cryo engine

Missile manufacturer BrahMos Aerospace said will manufacture the GSLV’s cryogenic engine once the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has completed development of the technology.

SBIRS GEO-1 completes system test

The U.S. Air Force/Lockheed Martin-led Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) team has successfully completed a major space to ground interface and functional system test for the first geosynchronous (GEO-1) satellite.

Researchers design metamaterial horn antenna

Cheaper, lighter and more energy-efficient broadband devices on communications satellites may be possible using metamaterials to modify horn antennas, according to engineers from Pennsylvania State University and Lockheed Martin Corp.

Tivuitalia to use Astra capacity for DTT
