New Progress vessel to ship supplies, microsatellite to ISS

Rocket: Soyuz-U; Payload: Progress M-09M (Progress 41P); Date: 28 January 2011, 0131 UTC. The Progress cargo spacecraft was accurately placed on the target orbit for another mission to the International Space Station.

GSLV-F06: structural damage made cables snap

ISRO has come one step closer in identifying the root cause of the GSLV-F06 failure on 25 December, IANS news agency reports. The 11-member expert committee hopes to come to a conclusion during its next session on 7 February.

NASA’s new lander prototype tested on skateboards

NASA engineers successfully integrated and completed system testing on a new robotic lander recently at Teledyne Brown Engineering’s facility in Huntsville in support of the Robotic Lunar Lander Project at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center.

Don’t you just hate it when you watch TV and you stumble into a TV series and it is in the middle of the season and you happen to like it? That can be an intensely upsetting situation since you will understandably want to know how the whole thing began. Of course you can always wait for the network to air the previous episodes but who knows when that will happen or if it will happen? You might get sick of waiting and the replay of the previous episodes might happen at an inconvenient time for you.
