MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. has signed a multi-million dollar contract amendment exercising an option on the contract announced 19 January 2010. MDA will provide Orbital Sciences Corporation with solutions to enable capture and mating of the Cygnus cargo delivery spacecraft to the International Space Station.

GMV Space Systems, the U.S. company of ground system supplier GMV, has been selected as part of a General Dynamics C4 Systems-led team to modernise the ground system for NASA’s Tracking Data and Relay Satellite (TDRS) constellation. The project is known as the Space Network Ground Segment Sustainment (SGSS).
