GAO report on problems with new U.S. weather satellites

The U.S. Government Accountability Office has released a report that summarises its past work on the progress and challenges facing two key environmental satellite acquisitions, the National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS) and Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites-R (GOES-R) programme.
