WGS SV-1 shipped to Cape Canaveral

The U.S. Air Force’s first Wideband Global Satellite Communications (WGS, formerly known as Wideband Gapfiller Satellite) spacecraft (SV-1) was shipped to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on 20 July. From the site, it was transported to the Astrotech Space Facility in Titusville, Florida/USA, for post-shipment processing.
