IMPSAT contracts capacity on SES New Skies’ NSS-10

SES New Skies announced that Impsat, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Global Crossing, has contracted 90 MHz (equivalent to approximately 2.5 transponders at 36 MHz) on the company’s NSS-10 satellite at the orbital location of 37.5 degrees West.

GAO report on problems with new U.S. weather satellites
