Raytheon started NPOESS communications upgrade in Antarctica

Raytheon Company said it has achieved a significant programme milestone for the U.S. National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS) by successfully completing the first phase of a major communications upgrade for Antarctica.
