Update: STS-119 moved forward 24 hours

NASA managers completed a review of space shuttle Discovery’s readiness for flight and selected the official launch date for the STS-119 mission. Commander Lee Archambault and his six crewmates are now scheduled to lift off to the International Space Station at 0120 UTC on 12 March (11 March local time).

The Joint Stock Company Academician M.F. Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems negotiated a contract on development Telkom-3 telecommunication spacecraft for PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. communication operator.

SSTL delivers on Russian KANOPUS missions

Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) has delivered the first two suites of equipment for the Kanopus-type satellite platforms to its customer, Russian state research and development company FSUE NPP VNIIEM.
