RazakSAT arrives at Marshall Islands launch site

RazakSAT, Malaysia’s remote-sensing satellite, has arrived at Omelek Island in the Republic of Marshall Islands in the Pacific Ocean from where it will be launched into orbit next month.

Final pair of solar arrays begin providing power to ISS

The fourth and final pair of massive solar arrays, built by Lockheed Martin at its Space Systems facility in Sunnyvale, have been installed on the International Space Station by the crew of the space shuttle Discovery. The two new arrays have been deployed and are generating electricity.

Hispasat upgrades to SAT Corporation’s MonicsNet

Integral Systems, Inc., , announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, SAT Corporation, has received a contract from Hispasat to upgrade the Carrier Monitoring System throughout Hispasat’s network, extending the existing MonicsNet network to support the Amazonas 1 and Amazonas 2 communications systems.

SSTL-led team investigates GNSS signals for remote sensing

Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL) said it will lead a British project to exploit signals from GPS and GNSS navigation satellites that are reflected from the Earth for remote sensing purposes.
