NASA’s Shuttle Discovery Launches to Fully Power Space Station

Space shuttle Discovery and its seven-member crew lifted off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center at 2343 UTC on 15 March to deliver the final set of power-generating solar array wings and a new crew member to the International Space Station.

Sirius 5 to carry EGNOS payload

Herschel and Planck launch postponed

In order to carry out additional checks on the ground segment of the Herschel and Planck programmes, Arianespace and ESA have jointly agreed to postpone the launch initially planned for 16 April.
