With so many satellite TV stores coming up, there has surely been a rise in the sale of satellite TV. There are many reasons why people have started to opt for satellite TV than the traditional cable operators. Of course because of the many added benefits almost at the same price or little more than the existing amount that one pays to a cable operator. It is not for the casual viewer who only puts on the TV during severe bouts of insomnia. It is for the television die-hard. The viewer who believes that television was invented just for him, and that these modern technological advances absolutely mandate a 52″ Plasma in every room.

For anyone who has ever been in a hospital or perhaps visited loved ones in a hospital, nursing or convalescent home, it’s quite obvious that television is just about the only option there to pass the time. Years ago hospital television reception was poor to say the least, and pretty much limited to the usual few local stations the viewer would probably see at home. This alone probably made a patient even sicker than he was!

International Launch Services (ILS) and Eutelsat announced a contract for the launch of the W7 satellite on an ILS Proton. The satellite was previously scheduled to launch aboard a Sea Launch Zenit 3-SL.

Proba-2 has reached Plesetsk Cosmodrome in northern Russia, where it is being prepared for launch this November. Among the smallest satellites ever built by ESA, it was transported there aboard an Ilyushin cargo plane.
