NASA sets target date for Ares I-X rocket’s test launch

NASA said it was targeting 27 October for the flight test of the Ares I-X rocket, pending successful testing and data verification. Senior managers made the decision after a meeting at NASA Headquarters in Washington on 21 September.

Harris antenna reflector for Sirius FM-5 deployed

An advanced antenna reflector designed and built by Harris Corporation for use onboard the Sirius FM-5 satellite was successfully deployed on orbit on 15 July 2009, the company said in a statement released today.

CBM communications selects Intelsat to launch global IP platform
