Multi-mission COMS-1 satellite is space qualified

Astrium and the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) have successfully completed the mechanical and thermal tests on the Communications, Oceanography and Meteorology Satellite COMS-1 , South Korea’s first multi-mission geostationary satellite, and the first ever of its type to be built in Europe.
