Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) and Space Systems/Loral (SS/L), have signed an agreement for the launch of an SS/L manufactured satellite aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 as early as 2012.

Orbital Sciences Corporation and Aerojet, along with Aerojet’s Russian partner, United Engine Corporation/SNTK, announced that a series of NK-33 rocket engine tests conducted in Samara, Russia, were successfully completed last week in support of the development of Orbital’s Taurus II space launch vehicle.
