Latest U.S. meteorological satellite in orbit

Rocket: Delta IV Medium+ (4,2); Payload: GOES-P; Date: 4 March 2010, 2357 UTC; Launch Site: Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Following a nominal four hour, 21-minute flight, the Delta IV deployed the spacecraft.

CGWIC signs LaoSat-1 communications satellite contract

China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC), China Asia-Pacific Mobile Communications Satellite Company Limited (APMT) and Laos National Authority for Science and Technology (NAST) under Prime Minister’s Office PDR, recently signed the Contract for Lao Satellite Broadcasting and Telecommunication System Construction (LAOSAT-1).
